Hotel DÉJANIL

The hotel worked well for my one-night stay. The room felt modern and well equipped, and the beds can be pushed together. It’s close to the main road, though the centre is quite a way off. Nothing to complain about.

The rooms are basic and short on comfort, with no bedside tables, and I found the price unacceptable. Breakfast on our last visit was more disappointing than enjoyable. We’ve stayed here several times, and there used to be service. As of December 22, 2025, check-in is only through an online form. That’s a serious risk if someone has a health problem and an emergency doctor or on-call service can’t get in. The emergency instructions on the door are tiny and hard to understand. 😔 We won’t book here again.

A short drive gets you to Hanover, and the location is otherwise fine. It’s adequate for a short stay. My room faced the car wash, though, so there was some noise until dusk.

Breakfast was just the basics, and when something ran out it wasn’t replaced, though there was enough to fill up on. The rooms were clean, but had a few gaps: no outlet in the bathroom or near a mirror, and no hooks or shelves in the shower. For anyone without high expectations, it’s an easy enough place to stay. For some reason, only one bed had been made.
