My family and I loved the atmosphere, especially the historical background and the beautiful timber framing. The bed in our room was very comfortable, and we went for a swim in the spa area one evening. It would be helpful to have a few spare float rings for children, since parents like us sometimes forget to bring them. We also had breakfast twice. There was a nice range of food and drinks to choose from, though the scrambled eggs and sausages weren't the best. There were plenty of other dishes, though. If I stay near Hannover again, I'd choose this hotel.

The first impression was great: a lovely location and a fancy lobby. We popped into the restaurant for a quick look, and it seemed nice. The menu sounded very promising. Our room was large and clean, with a great mattress and a really good bathroom and shower.

The room was lovely and very clean, and the staff were attentive and polite. The layout inside is confusing, with lots of corridors. The pool and gym facilities were excellent, though we couldn't use the pool one day because a toddler swimming lesson was taking place. Be ready to see naked people around the sauna, apparently Germans don't wear bathing suits there. All in all, it was a good stay.

It's a beautiful, quiet hotel, with no traffic noise coming inside. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, and the dinners and breakfasts are always good, with several choices. It's also very easy to reach from near the highway.

Great breakfast and service, and the clean room worked well for my short stay. Mine did have a stain on the floor.
