The hosts are incredibly kind and make time to help you have a great stay. I've never met a more caring, welcoming host, and the fresh breakfast each morning was amazing. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The location is great, very close to Bad Kissingen. My host also sent me lists of things to do nearby. I recommend Flandungen, which was such a cool experience. I'll definitely be back.

I slept soooo well in the comfortable, spacious room we were shown after a warm welcome and introduction to the place. Pension Schmitt was an amazing Gasthaus! Breakfast was exceptional too, with eggs made to order, cold cuts, cheese, fresh rolls, coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, milk, and more. I couldn't have asked for anything else. Wonderful place and staff, and a great stay!

The hosts were so friendly, and breakfast felt like a family affair. Everything was very clean, though the rooms are a little dated. I'd recommend staying here!

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. It's a really nice place and a good base if you're planning to visit the Rhön.
