I called at short notice about our SLK Club coming by for food and drinks. She said on the phone she’d keep everything free for us, and we could even park right in front of the restaurant. Everyone was really friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We’ll definitely come back next year at Pentecost.

The hosts really are top-notch, and the food and drinks are excellent. My wife and I came back after a year and had a great time again, with friendly service, delicious tarte flambée and absolutely superb sausage salad. I’d first visited the wine tavern "Zur alten Schmiede" with a small cycling group after a year away. We were warmly welcomed, and it was a shame we had over 400 km to travel to get there. The wine was excellent, and the homemade sausage salad was among the best I’ve had, maybe the best. The hosts do their best to accommodate requests, and my friends and acquaintances wholeheartedly agree. The atmosphere is wonderful in every way. Hope we can return soon!

The friendly, attentive service stood out especially, and the evening will stay fondly in everyone’s memory. Our large group had a wonderful time under the beautiful linden tree, trying several delicious kinds of tarte flambée. The sausage salad was excellent too, and the Kaiserstuhl wine was a hit. We’ll definitely be back.

The weather forced us to stop, and we came across this lovely little wine bar. The welcome was friendly and accommodating, and the spicy "Inge" was really tasty. Highly recommended. 😍
