There were a few things we did like: the beds were fine, the bathroom had plenty of storage and a vanity mirror, and there was a washing machine and dryer. The cutlery, knife block, egg cooker, and coffee machine were useful too. Doors opened and shut silently, and all windows and patio doors had mosquito nets. The bus stop is right outside, with a supermarket and pizzeria "around the corner." But the equipment overall needs work. For an apartment for 8, there weren't enough drinking glasses, and there were no beer or white wine glasses, cake or snack plates, large frying pan, or large saucepan. There was no organic waste bin, and no guidance about bin collection or glass disposal. No games, and no wardrobe, so we mostly lived out of our suitcases. There was nowhere to put shower supplies. The drying rack was too small for 8 people, and there was no broom or hand brush and dustpan, just a mop handle without a mop. The stairs upstairs aren't suitable for small children. The shower drain has no slope, so water has to be pushed toward it. Worse, shower water leaked through the ceiling and extractor fan into the kitchen below. As compensation we were offered a cup of coffee. The patio chairs have sharp edges, though apparently a fix has already been started. The downstairs toilet seat is loose because the right-hand fitting is broken. The shower temperature control is hard to set, swinging between too hot and too cold, especially difficult with children. The living room TV only received ARD or ZDF; other channels need a smart card. After we complained, no fix was offered. The TV was only usable after we complained, and even then the remote batteries hadn't been replaced after several days. In our bedroom, the TV could only be turned off by unplugging it. There is no lawn around the house, so kids play ball on paving stones, and the slide is on the paving too.

Really modern, and everything is top-notch.
