The parking was good, the location was nice, and the room was okay, with cleanliness at about 7/10. But breakfast was very bad, and the food we ordered for lunch and dinner was awful. The staff weren’t very friendly. Only older people seem to manage the hotel, so it could be a bit tricky for a young traveller like me. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants fresh, good food or friendly manners. Thanks a lot, TJ.

I booked a comfort room for the Pentecost weekend on February 18, 2026, and confirmed by email on May 16 that arriving after 6 p.m. would be possible if my cycling tour ran late. Everything seemed settled. Then, just four days later, on May 20, the booking agent told me that the "Zur Fischerklause" hotel could no longer guarantee me a room because of overbooking. Despite all the arrangements, I was turned away at short notice as a solo cyclist. Having a long-planned weekend cancelled in the middle of peak season, only days after checking the arrival details, felt completely unprofessional. I was left without a place to stay and had to scramble to find an expensive alternative at the last minute. I have all the written records, including the February booking confirmation, the May 16 email exchange, and proof of my relocation. Anyone who needs reliability and genuine service should avoid this hotel.
