Hotel Chemnitzer Hof

This lovely hotel is a striking piece of architecture and is perfectly located, with great service. I don't understand why the double rooms have two single beds pushed together. To me, that makes it a twin room.

The Hotel Chmnitzer Hof is easy to reach by car or train, and the underground parking is accessible from the hotel by elevator. In the center of Chemnitz, Saxony, it's a well-kept place with modern rooms that have everything you need. The staff are helpful and always friendly, and guests are clearly a priority. There's a large range of excellent food and drinks, and it works well for events of all kinds. Highly recommended.

I loved staying here. The location was wonderful, the hotel was very clean, the service was incredible, and breakfast was amazing. One of my favorite hotels so far!

The next morning I tried to explain to the manager how disappointed I was, but she didn’t seem to care. I’d arrived late at night straight from the airport, a 22-year-old woman traveling alone with luggage, and the receptionist refused to let me stay. I had to book online, which seemed to be what finally got me a room, even though rooms of all kinds were available. When I asked for water, he wouldn’t give me any and just snapped back rudely. The whole thing really crushed my spirits about traveling alone in Germany again. This was supposed to be a good hotel, but the service felt deeply unprofessional and unwelcoming. Very, very bad service. No decency or humanity from the staff. Shame on them and on the service sector.
