Ferienresidenz Chiemseestrand Nr. 8

The apartment itself is very nice, but the traffic on the road to Traunstein is incredibly loud, even at night.

We had a relaxing week in Seerose, a beautiful, spacious holiday apartment in a fantastic spot. The lake is reached by a path, with little coves along the way where it’s peaceful and quiet. With a dog, that was especially nice. There are lots of stones in and around the water, so water shoes and camping chairs or something similar would come in handy. We ate fresh bread rolls on the balcony in the mornings and enjoyed the lake view. Communication with the management was friendly and straightforward, and the weather was perfect. We highly recommend this holiday residence.

There’s a café in the building, and an excellent pizzeria at an equestrian center is about a 10-minute walk away. The complex is right by the lake, with only a small canal in between, so it’s wonderfully peaceful. Most apartments have lake views. Highly recommended.

The management team were friendly and flexible, and the complex was clean with quick access to the water. One tip for anyone bringing tech: pack a power strip and extension cord, since there aren’t many outlets. Otherwise, everything was really great, and it’s in a beautiful location.
