Ferienwohnung Hoher Weg

A beautiful view, a quiet area, plenty of parking, and very friendly owners made this top-floor holiday home a great stay. The two bedrooms are large, and there’s a big living room with several seating areas. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, and there’s a shower. Everything was very clean, and even my dust allergy caused no problems. Every Thursday evening, there’s a charming little farmers’ market just a two-minute walk away with delicious food. A laundromat is a convenient five-minute drive away, and the cottage has a drying rack.

The landlords are exceptionally kind and clearly want their guests to be happy. The apartment is wonderfully quiet, yet the main places are easy to reach. We’ve rarely stayed in a holiday apartment this clean and nicely furnished. It’s easy to feel at home here. Thank you.

With all its windows, this top-floor holiday home is wonderfully bright, and the view over Clausthall-Zellerfeld is lovely. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are all excellent, and everything is arranged just right. The owners are friendly. There’s no washing machine, but the large drying rack helps. A nearby laundromat can wash a 7-kilo load in 30 minutes for just four euros, soap and water included. The area is beautiful for hiking, and UNESCO sites like Goslar and the Rammelsberg mines are also within reach. Five stars!

The street name really suits this apartment. From here, you can see across Clausthal all the way to the Brocken mountain, and I doubt you could get much higher. Cyclists should expect a climb back up at the end of every ride. The nice thing is being able to unwind on the lovely "balcony" afterward and watch the sunset. We felt very comfortable in the nicely furnished apartment.
