The hotel’s display of GDR toys gives it a cozy, almost museum-like feel. It’s a unique place beside the Colditz Forest, in a listed building with a park of the same name. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast was good. The rooms are dated, but they have charm, as does the whole building. The service was very friendly, though it was hard to reach them by phone.
