The low price and convenient location were the only real positives. The place itself wasn't what we expected: the rooms were small, very basic, and not clean enough, and there was no reception or anything like one. The person running it was grumpy and rude. We even heard him tell the cleaner to make as much noise as possible at 9 in the morning. It made for a really disappointing booking. If you can afford it, I'd look for somewhere better.

There was no luxury here, which is pretty much what the price suggests. The room was just large enough for the bed and a little space to move beside it, and the tiny bathroom only just fit the shower and toilet. The reception was in a small metal building in the backyard and open for only a short time. They also charged my credit card without asking me first.

The room was so cramped that the two of us and one bag of luggage filled it. It had a small double bed in an alcove, with only about 3m x 1m of space between it and the doors. The bathroom was about 1m x 1.5m. The bed itself was small and hard, the bathroom and room were both tiny, and it wasn't very clean. The TV didn't work either. For what little comfort you get, this ridiculous "hotel" is way too expensive. The receptionist had a bad temper and barely spoke German or English. The pictures showed different rooms from the small one we actually got.

The location is pretty good, with a bakery, grocery shops, pubs, and quick bites available until midnight. The pension was clean, the staff were friendly, and the room had everything you need. No complaints. Just be ready to climb lots of stairs if your room is at the top ;-)

Getting around was easy: the Central station is about 10 minutes away, and Sbahn and Ubahn stops nearby make it accessible at any time of day. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we regularly got clean towels. It was tiny and a bit expensive, but we couldn't find anything better.
