The hotel has the feel of a heritage property and no extra facilities, but it sits in a charming wooded area. Breakfast had absolutely everything we needed. I was in Cottbus on a business trip and want to thank the hotel lady for her kind, warm approach. English seemed uncommon in the city, and almost no one spoke another language besides German. She didn't speak English either, but still made an effort to help me and answer all my questions.

The hotel has a motel-like setup, so you can drive right up to your room. It's a little outside the city center, but the tram stop is right outside, which makes that easy. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Thanks, I'd happily stay again. Highly recommended.
