It’s a convenient spot, about a 10-minute walk from downtown, with plenty of easy parking. The hotel is simple but bright, clean, and comfortable. Check-in went smoothly, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t try the breakfast.

It was easy to get around from here, with the railway station within walking distance. The hostel was cheaper than the other places we tried to book, and check-in and checkout were very smooth. The rooms were cozy, and there’s a nice bar and lobby. The breakfast buffet looked good, though we didn’t choose it. Pleasant stay overall.

The roof terrace was a highlight, with lovely sunset views, and the bar had plenty of alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks. The hotel’s location worked really well for the town and harbours. As a Brit abroad, I would’ve liked tea and coffee facilities in the room, but it didn’t spoil the stay. The showroom was excellent, extra pillows arrived when I asked, and housekeeping was excellent every day. Breakfast was good too. At €13 each, it set us up for a full day sightseeing in Helgoland and Duhnen. I’d definitely stay again.

I picked this place for a family event because it’s close to the train station, and the stay turned out to be a pleasant surprise. My room was very clean and spacious. They brought me a kettle when I asked, and the buffet breakfast was very good.

The room got quite hot, and I couldn’t get the temperature down. I opened the window, but that feels like a waste of energy, doesn’t it?
