Residenz am Yachthafen

We come back to Apartment 24 every spring for a short break, and sitting by the window watching the ships is so relaxing. The place is roomy, clean, and cozy. Highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

At Hamer's apartment Ry14, we had a great Pentecost weekend. The view and cleanliness were superb, and the furnishings were modern and just as good. Reception and management were very friendly and helpful, including with internet access issues. Highly recommended.

The harbor for trips to Helgoland is right beside the building, with the crossing taking only 70 minutes. Nearby, the HAPAG Halls and Steubenhöft Amerika Hafen are interesting places to see. The location is great, and the larger apartments have balconies facing both north and south, though the furnishings vary quite a bit between apartments. Value for money is still acceptable in the off-season.

We had such good weather that we spent the whole time outside, enjoying the maritime feel and the view. It stretches along the Elbe all the way to Kugelbake, and we'd love to return. The apartment could use more attention to detail. The shower is worn, there isn't enough balcony furniture, and you have to carry it from one balcony to the other. There's an old coin-operated washing machine in the basement. At €2.50 a wash, you'd think you were in Swabia 🙃😯.
