We had trouble with the shower until the owner came over and showed us how to use it. The room itself was clean, and the price was good for a central location, though that does mean you shouldn't expect much of a view. Breakfast was the weak point. There was orange juice and eggs, but we had to ask for whole-grain bread, and what we got was stale. The coffee was weak too. The only trash can was at a neighboring table that seemed to be set up for show. Maybe we caught them on an off day, since the reviews are usually better.

The rustic feel is part of the appeal here, especially if you enjoy village restaurants and German food. The schnitzel was excellent.

The breakfast room was really smoky, and the furniture looked very old and worn out. I wouldn't recommend it.

The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Everything was very clean, and I felt comfortable there. A nice place to stay.
