The room smelled unpleasant, and the bed creaked. Although it had been renovated, it looked cheap, with a jumble of old and new furniture. The house itself was very old and run-down, and had a musty smell. The refrigerator was really loud.

The room is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep. It’s too small to spend time in, and there’s no couch or armchair. There is a TV, but the sound is very poor.

The landlord and his employee were kind, courteous, helpful, and easy to deal with. Breakfast was good and nicely presented, and the sleeping arrangements were adequate. The room was damp, though, and the small bathroom was unacceptable: dark, worn out, and with no ventilation or window that opens. The old sink was right next to the bed, which took some getting used to.

The innkeeper was very friendly, and the price was really good. Breakfast was generous and thoughtfully laid out. The room was old but practical, and the shower and bathroom weren’t very well maintained. Our stay was pleasant, and we’d come back for a few days.
