We stood outside for an hour because the key box wouldn’t open with the code we’d been sent, and nobody could be reached by phone. We’d planned to stay the night before our holiday on Föhr, but a train delay meant we arrived late in the evening. Unable to get in, we had to find and book three hotel rooms at very short notice. Definitely not recommended. The communication was very poor.

The walls were so thin I had to go into my neighbor’s room to avoid hearing every word from their TV. Everything was very old, which isn’t necessarily a problem in itself, but the cleanliness was awful in my opinion. Next time I’ll pay a few more euros for a nice room.

We never got a code for the key drop boxes, so we couldn’t get in. That evening we had to find an overpriced hotel at the last minute. It’s a real shame places like this still exist.

The room was clean and the terrace was OK. Wi-Fi and parking were fine too. Our attempts to set up an account failed. There was one bath towel per guest but just one hand towel, and there was no service. We were given one roll of toilet paper for two people for five days. I know it’s budget accommodation, but the box-spring bed had no topper or mattress protector, and stains showed through the sheets.
