The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was easily the best part: roomy, modern, and really well done. But we won't stay here again. We felt watched over by all the notices and rules, as if we couldn't manage normal social behavior without being told how. We've stayed in plenty of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses and know how to follow rules. The hosts were friendly, but guests should be able to enjoy some quiet too. Having to keep interacting with strangers meant there was very little privacy for us. It might suit someone else for a night, but it doesn't work for us.

The ferry terminal and a few restaurants are an easy 10-minute walk away, and the internet is very fast. It's a lovely small guesthouse where you can slow down and take in the coastal views. The owners are friendly and glad to share ideas for trips.

The owners were welcoming without getting in the way, and the rate seemed fair for the North Sea area. We stayed two nights last summer on the drive home from our vacation so our daughter could see the Wadden Sea. The guesthouse worked perfectly for that, with the ferry to Föhr and the other islands within walking distance. The rooms are kept in good shape. Stopping here was the right choice for us, and I'd happily recommend it.

There was just one toilet and shower shared by everybody, and the sanitary conditions were dreadful. We never expected to find a place in Germany this bad. The price for such a horrible stay was high, and the booking information online never said that our room had no toilet. It felt like a scam.

A short walk from the World Heritage Site. The place is clean and practical, with a lovely garden guests can use and even a grill. The landlords are nice.
