Whenever I'm back in the area, I'd stay here again. The host was friendly, the beds were good, and breakfast was nice.

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the price for everything was very appealing. After a long bike ride, we got to the hotel around 8 PM. They'd called ahead to see whether we wanted dinner, and we could have a big, delicious meal when we arrived. Our bikes were stored indoors, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. I'd return in a heartbeat.

We've stayed at the Schieferstein house twice while visiting friends in the village. The rooms are very spacious and spotless, with comfortable, timeless furnishings. Getting the keys from the safe by the entrance was easy. There's even a fully equipped kitchen, so the room could work well for a longer stay. The restaurant looked inviting too, though we haven't tried it.
