It's handy that the beach, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. The weather was good, at least. The place is a bit shabby and showing its age, and although the front door is locked at 8 p.m., there's no smoke detector. The bathroom and kitchen are extremely small, around 2.5 square metres. In the little bedroom, it seemed like the neighboring apartment's bathroom was right behind the wall, with rushing water audible through it. There was no lamp or outlet by the bed. The linens and towels promised on the booking portal weren't provided and had to be ordered at extra cost, and you even have to bring your own toilet paper. The balcony railing was rusty, with two old plastic chairs and no small table.

Wegener's management was very friendly and helpful, and everything was reasonably clean. We stayed just two nights, and the apartment was an okay size for a short visit, though the bathroom and kitchen were cramped and quite old. The shower curtain seemed unhygienic to us, some of the shower grout was black, and the old shower hose worked. The building as a whole looks like it could use renovation or modernization. The location next to the spa park was okay. The lively beach promenade and the supermarket with a bakery were about 1-1.5 km away, while the quieter beach section was closer, though it didn't yet have shops or cafes.

We booked a holiday apartment for three, then it was cancelled without explanation the day before we were due to arrive. We tried several times to reach the owner, but got no answer by phone or email, no apology, and no explanation. Thanks for ruining our Easter weekend. Booking a hotel instead the day before Easter was unfortunately impossible. If we could, we'd give no stars at all.
