Carpe Diem Dahme

The one thing in its favor was the location. We stayed in August 2025, three adults and two children aged 2 and 4, and the rest was a disaster. The whole house smelled strongly of dogs, with hair on the floors, stairs, carpets, armchairs, sofas, beds, and cupboards. There was also sand, dog food, sticky residue, and other mess throughout. We sent the agency photos, but turned down a second cleaning. We'd already cleaned during the night before the children arrived the next day. The cottage garden was wild and overgrown, the playhouse was dirty and untidy, and the promised wagon wasn't there. We were only told after asking that it probably wouldn't be replaced until autumn. Strandurlaub-Dahme, through Ms. Wandelt, had the landlady's son, Ms. Tania Gallardo's son, come to do gardening for a week. We'd specifically said no, but he and a woman with him moved into a basement apartment we hadn't known about. Its door led straight into the holiday home's living area. One star for the good location. There was far too much hassle, and we won't book this house again.
