Seehotel Lönö

The staff impressed us most, always listening to our requests, and we’d be very happy to come back. We were welcomed warmly, and the rooms had standard furnishings with nothing missing. Half board included a plentiful breakfast and tasty dinners.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was okay. You can choose between two set meal times. Staff were fairly friendly, and on Easter Sunday there was a chocolate bunny in the room. The best thing is the location: step out of the hotel and you’re on the Dahme promenade, or at the beach in five minutes. The room itself was okay, but far too cold. My single room’s underfloor heating was off or set very low despite the known low outdoor temperatures, and the tiny bathroom was cold too. They raised the temperature only slightly after several days, which still wasn’t enough. Once there was only cold water. Room cleaning is available on request. There are rules posted everywhere about what guests can and can’t do. They only take cash, and you can’t charge purchases to your room, you have to pay immediately. My polite requests for a teaspoon or drinking glass from the breakfast room to take back were refused outright. Extra things like another pillow or towel cost more. There were no Easter decorations at all, everything was completely neutral, though now and then a paper napkin with an Easter motif had been left in the hallway or on a room table.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is excellent with everything you could want. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean and very well kept. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, just 100 meters from the beach. I highly recommend it.

We had a really nice stay at Seehotel Lönö, with the sea right there and the beach less than 100 meters away. The rooms were very clean and looked comfortable, and there’s a big parking lot for hotel guests. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We took off a star because the Wi-Fi worked for just one night, then stopped. Cell phone reception in the area was very poor, so we had to depend on the hotel Wi-Fi. Otherwise, a very nice stay at Seehotel.
