Strandfeeling

The garden view and the quiet are a big part of why we keep coming back to Strandfeeling. The apartments are compact and cozy, with what you need. We've been returning for years and are very happy here. Time to get on our bikes and enjoy the holiday!

We were glad to return to Strandfeeling this year and find the familiar setting just as satisfying as last time. Our two-person apartment had what we expected and was plenty for a restful coastal break. It's a small, affordable place in Dahme, with practical furnishings and a nautical feel around the grounds. Thanks for having us again. 🙂

The key pickup was simple, which I appreciated, but we wouldn't recommend staying here. We spent four nights in a small apartment that was clean and practical, though the musty odor was there from the beginning and airing it out made no difference. I expected a little table and chairs because I cook for myself, but there weren't any. The kitchenette was sufficient, while the tiny bathroom had almost nowhere to put toiletries.

We ended up leaving early. The musty odor was strong as soon as we opened the door, especially in the cupboard with the pots and in the wardrobe, and even the fridge smelled. Keeping the place aired out for hours didn't help. We wanted a few restful days despite the rain, but the TV had white lines and was marked broken, with no replacement or radio. We also only learned from a frame on the wall that heating after May 15 costs €7.50-€14.50 per day; nobody had told us beforehand. I can't recommend it.
