The walk to the beach and bakery was really convenient, and the apartment itself was nice. A few things were frustrating: the toilet seat and bed slats weren't secured properly, the grill didn't work, and the shower had a little mold. Some TV remote buttons didn't work, while other remotes were dead. The downstairs apartment is very noisy. Also, getting into the parking lot is extremely tight unless you have a Fiat 500 or Smart. Still, it was a good place apart from those smaller problems.

Update, September 2021: We came back in September and found the apartment had declined a lot since the previous year. Some things we'd mentioned in July 2021 had been fixed, but the biggest problems were still being ignored. The quality is going downhill while the price has gone up by €25 from 2019 to 2021. That might be fair if the standard had stayed the same, but it hasn't. On our earlier stays, the apartment was clean, cozy, and well furnished, and we liked the thoughtful touches from the owner. The grill was the one exception, since some guests don't clean up after using it. Kraushaar's service has always been perfect. We planned to stay another 10 days, and expected to return around September 2021, when my wife wanted to celebrate her birthday here with us. We do like the place and have been back before, though the price feels a bit steep.
