Baltic Village

Dogs are clearly welcome here, and around Damp too, which we really appreciated. Our apartment at Comfort was lovely, clean, and nicely furnished, and the staff were kind and helpful. We felt looked after and would happily return. One small thing for next time, it would be nice if the shower got properly hot instead of just warm. 😀

The Kids Villa was a big hit with our child, and we could enjoy our meal while they had fun. We also booked an extra enclosure for our dog, which made things much easier for dog owners. Tequila says thanks too 🐾. The staff greeted us personally and showed us how things like the heating and sauna worked. The house was clean, the beds were made, and linens were included. Extras were easy to book through the app. We liked the holiday complex, especially how welcoming it was to children and dogs. Our premium house was generally very good, though we missed a few useful bits: a laundry basket despite the washing machine, a sturdier drying rack with pegs, and a better vacuum cleaner. Fly screens, a pizza cutter, basic spices, baking paper, and a few board games would also help. The table and six chairs felt cramped, so a bench on one side might work better. Placemats would be useful, particularly on the outdoor glass table to avoid scratches. There’s plenty for kids to do nearby, including funhalla, bowling, the pool, playgrounds, and mini-golf. The beach promenade has good food and cocktails, but keep an eye on the seagulls and your food. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, though that’s out of anyone’s hands.

The sauna in the house was the best part for us, and the pans were a pleasant surprise since they didn’t burn anything 😁. We stayed in a Comfort House and felt right at home. It was clean, nicely furnished, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The Baltic team were friendly and helpful. Our house didn’t have a washing machine, but that was fine for a short holiday. If you need one, check ahead, or use the laundromat in Damp. We had a lovely few days over Easter, and got lucky with the weather too 😎

We felt at home straight away, and our dog did too. The house was spotless, in great shape, and had everything we needed, including a wood stove, a fantastic sauna, and a whirlpool bathtub. The beds and sofa were really comfortable, and the furnishings were lovely. We got a warm welcome and a helpful introduction when we arrived. The service was comprehensive, with firewood and bread delivery available. Dogs are welcome. We liked it so much that we immediately booked again for New Year’s Eve 2024. We’d be glad to come back again.
