Ostsee Ferienhaus Welzin Altes Schäferhaus

There was hardly any traffic even though the holiday home sits right by the main road through town. The setting is beautiful, and you can get to the coast in three directions in about 15 minutes for a swim or a walk. It’s a spacious, lovely place for a big family or group. The old shepherd's house and stable have been joined together and converted. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with lots of bathrooms, though they’re quite small. My only gripe, through no one’s fault, is that the ceiling in the second kitchen is very low. Anyone taller than 1.85m will need to duck. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We spent four days here and rode our bikes around the area each day. The house had everything we needed and was very well-kept. All the rooms were nicely furnished, there were plenty of toilets and showers for our group of eight, and the two big fridges came in handy. We especially liked spending time in the large, cozy eat-in kitchen. There was a comfortable garden table too, and we often had barbecues. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the house. Thanks again for having us, and special thanks to Jana, the "house fairy," who made breakfast for us every day.

Our family of 11, aged 16 to 87, had a great five-day break here. The house is well-kept and works well for groups, with a big garden and barbecue area. There are plenty of bathrooms, though they’re small, so mornings were unhurried. The owners stayed in friendly contact during our visit and shared extra tips for outings.

Everything was ready for us, very clean, and the owners were welcoming and clear in their communication, always getting back to us promptly. I celebrated my birthday here with my guests for a few days at the beautiful Baltic Sea holiday home in Welzin. We all felt comfortable and would love to return if we get the chance :-) Many thanks again to the Drews family. The house is a great recommendation for its value for money.
