We paid 70€ for a room with breakfast. The bread was good, and the rest was the usual jam, eggs, sausage and so on. Breakfast itself was fine, but the waitresses working then seemed unprofessional: they avoided speaking to me and handled food with bare hands. They don’t have lactose-free milk. The staff who welcomed us were very friendly and let us in even though we arrived late. The room was a disappointment for a place rated 4.1. It smelled, the bathroom stayed humid, and we had to open the bedroom window to clear it because there didn’t seem to be bathroom ventilation. There were also a few spiders that had made themselves at home. It reminded me of a scouts’ chalet. The room was basically just somewhere to sleep, and the comfort and cleanliness were so-so. The price was very affordable. Would I stay again? Probably, if I only needed a place to crash.

There was a lot of noise from other rooms at night. The rooms were okay, but they could have been cleaner.

The hotel rooms are clean, and the food is good, though not every dish is. Wi-Fi can sometimes work in the lobby, but the connection is so poor that I couldn’t get online from my room.

I go there once a month and have never had a bad experience. The Bavarian food is the best around, and the servers are friendly. It’s also a chance to meet locals.
