The apartment had almost no cleaning supplies, just a hand broom, with no vacuum, cloths, bucket, or anything similar. The refrigerator door was missing its bottom shelf, the windows were so dirty you couldn't see through them, and the front door had no latch, so it could only be locked with a key. We haven't come across anything like this before. If the owner hadn't noticed these things, that would explain the state of the rental. In another location, a holiday apartment in this condition wouldn't be rentable, though everyone has different standards. I'm confirming the negative reviews because we had no communication with the landlady, who wasn't even there. The newly arrived tenants in the rear building also found their house uncleaned. How about checking in on guests and asking if everything's all right? That's normal, unless you simply don't care. Since there's no way to reply directly to the landlord's response, I'm writing here. If you say the opposite again, it's just a lie. We're not aware of any separate agreement about dogs, so please contact Booking.com about that. We have nothing against you personally; we want these problems fixed so future guests don't have the same experience. Just sort them out and the reviews should improve.

The apartment was great, with very good amenities, and all of us were happy with it. We spent the weekend there to visit the OutpostOne in Dassow. The street-side location didn't bother any of us. 👍

The apartment was okay, but there's plenty that could be improved. The location felt lifeless and uninviting, and being on a main road meant it wasn't quiet. Inside, the renovation looked poorly done and there were quite a few dirty patches. The white sofa and armchair had some big stains, too. The living room has no blinds, so it gets unbearably hot when the temperature goes up, like a sauna. To clarify my response to the owner's comment, I'm not criticizing the hot summer itself. With blinds and a bigger fan in the apartment, the heat would've been more bearable. Maybe other visitors will be satisfied, but everyone has to decide for themselves.

The landlady was very nice, and we were happy with the apartment, which had everything we needed. Dassow itself doesn't have much in the way of restaurants, but Lübeck and Travemünde are fairly close. There's a bus stop right outside the house, while shops and a gas station are only a few minutes away. We'll definitely come back.
