A nice holiday apartment on the outskirts of Daun, with everything you need and very friendly landlords. The town center is about 3 km away, and HIT, Edeka, Aldi, and other shops are only a few minutes by car. You really need a vehicle, though, or getting around will be tiring. You can start hikes right from the apartment, or drive a bit and set off on one of the many trails. I can definitely recommend the apartment.

The house stayed surprisingly cool during our summer holiday from July to August, when it was 36 degrees Celsius outside and 25 indoors. The shutters and tilt-and-turn windows helped a lot, and the house is modern and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and a shower. We always found a sunny or shaded spot among the four seating areas in the lovely garden, even in the heat. Mr. and Mrs. Philipp welcomed us very warmly and were helpful throughout. It takes only a few minutes to walk from the holiday home into the forest, and the meadow above was so dark we could see the Milky Way. A fantastic place for our 2.5 weeks, highly recommended!

The location is fantastic, only 3 km from the city center, and the Philipp family were incredibly friendly with unbeatable service. We stayed for five days and really didn't want to leave. The apartment is beautiful and tidy, very clean, and furnished in a warm, inviting way. We'd love to come back.

We were taken in at 2:00 a.m. on the night of the devastating floods, and Gabi Schüller didn't hesitate to help us. The apartment is fantastic, too, in an otherwise wonderful area. Five stars plus for the excellent service 👍👍 Thank you!

The landlords were so nice, and the apartment was lovely and really quiet. We had a wonderful holiday at the Sunflower and would happily come back.
