The receptionist was unfriendly and wouldn’t check us in, even though check-in wasn’t due to close for another hour.

Really great.

The coffee was good, at least. Breakfast was just left outside the room in a plastic basket, and the room itself didn’t make a good impression. It only had a skylight that looked dirty, with no view, and the place wasn’t particularly clean. The furnishings were very basic too, just a small table with a plastic tablecloth and an uncomfortable chair. I’ve no idea how the positive reviews came about.

The breakfast was a real highlight, generous and thoughtfully prepared. Because of Covid, it was served in the room. I also loved the spacious, beautiful room, especially the enormous bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. I got such a warm welcome and would gladly come back.

The rooms were perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean, and everything worked, including the Wi-Fi and TV. Breakfast was great too. We spent the whole weekend there on a moped tour with friends, and we were all very satisfied. The owners were lovely and caring, and especially helpful. I’m already looking forward to visiting again.
