The hosts were so welcoming, and the house had everything we needed for a restful stay. It's a quiet, spotless old townhouse, carefully restored and furnished in a modern way. We could walk into the city center easily, and while the covered parking is six minutes away on foot, we could load and unload near the house. The Wi-Fi worked well. Highly recommended.

Detmold is right outside the door, and we’d happily stay here again. The house has been renovated with obvious care and attention to detail, and we didn’t find ourselves wanting for anything. There’s a parking space, and the Externsteine rock formation and Hermann Monument are nearby. Inside, the historic building blends nicely with modern comforts, from the bathrooms and two bedrooms to the TV, books, playroom, and eat-in kitchen. Everything was clean and well put together.

We had easy contact with the landlady, which was great. The townhouse itself is lovely and thoughtfully furnished with what you need. Shops for everyday things and other needs, along with restaurants, are all around the neighborhood.

The landlords were really nice, and the children’s room had lots of toys. It’s a listed building with plenty of charm, plus a new bathroom.
