Gästehaus Hoffmann

The Moselle is only a two-minute walk away, with a lovely path beside the river. There's a café on the corner, a pizzeria a few meters farther on, and two more restaurants in the other direction. We even watched the lock in operation from a little bridge. We were warmly welcomed at the Hoffmann guesthouse in the small village of Detzem and felt at home. Parking right on the property made loading and unloading easy. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and tidy, with plenty of wardrobe space. We slept well on the mattresses, and the bed linen smelled fresh. The small bathroom had what we needed, including towels and a hairdryer. Breakfast was laid out to our wishes, and Mrs. Hoffmann's homemade jams were delicious. Thanks again for the hospitality, and we wish the Hoffmann family lovely, friendly guests.
