The food was okay, but some prices felt out of line. Würzfleisch was listed as a large portion and cost 8 Euro, yet what we got was the usual starter size, which other restaurants around here charge up to 5 Euro for. The restaurant wasn’t even half full, but service was slow and not especially friendly. We left disappointed.

The restaurant’s interior alone is worth the money. It feels full of history, and when the seamen are there, it becomes a one of a kind place. It’s pure magic. By the way, Wikipedia says Terrence Hill's mother comes from Niederlommatzsch ^^
