Dinner was fantastic, with generous portions for all three main courses. At €15-€17, the prices felt absolutely fair for food that good. The continental breakfast was good too, with fresh bread and rolls brought to the table. Our street-facing room was still super quiet, even on this peaceful cobbled side street. The hosts were genuinely friendly without hovering. There are only a limited number of parking spaces beside the hotel, though I believe there's another car park a short walk away. The station is about a 10-minute walk if you want to ride Germany's oldest narrow gauge railway still in service. From Dippodiswalde you can do the full circuit with a regular return ticket. Even though you're starting "in the middle," you don't need a day pass.

Mrs. Lange was friendly and relaxed, and the small hotel parking lot was excellent. Everything was very clean and in pristine condition, and the breakfast had all I could want. As a vegetarian, I certainly didn't go hungry, though someone who's not a silly pseudo-gourmet might appreciate the spread. I only booked one night, but I can absolutely recommend the hotel and the Lange family. It was a pleasant stay, and if I'm in the area again, I'll gladly return. Thank you!
