Breakfast was great every day, and the hosts were wonderful. They shared plenty of local information, and it was a friendly place to stay. I was there for three nights with friends, had a great time exploring the area, and enjoyed a bike ride through parts of the Black Forest. The fresh air and cycle tracks were great. I really enjoyed my stay and will come back.

After a day of hiking, I loved relaxing on the balcony with a book. The room was clean, had new furniture and the usual amenities, and there's a good restaurant nearby. The owners were lovely and accommodating. They helped me book my next hotel when the people there didn't speak English, then even got my forgotten water bottle back to me in the next town. They also gave me plastic bags for packing a trail lunch. All around, a great stay.

After walking 30km of the Westweg, we arrived in September on the date we'd confirmed by email with the owner when booking in May 2023. Someone answered the door but said the hotel wasn't operating and had no room for us. Even after we showed our booking, they sent us to another hotel without an apology. Luckily it had availability. Given what happened to us, consider making alternative arrangements or putting protections in place in case the hotel refuses to honor your booking.

The room was very spacious, and the view was amazing. Service was genuinely kind and great. Breakfast was good, though there wasn't much variety.
