One of the boundary posts between the parking area and the house was partly rotten. I stepped on it, it broke, and I sprained my ankle. That’s unacceptable. The hazard should be clearly marked and the posts need repairing. We won’t return.

We had lovely weather, and the apartment had everything we needed. It’s in a great spot right by the dike, just a few metres from the water, when there is any! 😁 The landlady was really nice. We’d recommend both the apartment and Cuxhaven.

The whole family helps make a relaxing holiday possible, and Mrs. Contag is at the heart of it. She’s always friendly and takes the time to listen. For the apartment’s location, the value for money is excellent. We had two lovely, restful weeks during the Corona pandemic. Thanks so much, I’d happily come back again and again. Greetings from Southern Baden-Württemberg.

Ms. Contag, the landlady, was always friendly and helpful. The accommodation is good value, with the beach just around the corner and Cuxhaven about a 10-minute bike ride away. Highly recommended.

There’s only room to stand upright in the middle of the bedroom because of the sloping ceiling. Move a metre to either side and you have to stoop. The bed has a slatted base made from ordinary wooden strips and a thin mattress.
