The staff were kind, and the reception was great. It’s also very close to the beach. I’d gladly stay here again and would recommend it to others. One of the best hotels I found in cuxhaven.

The staff were calm, professional, polite, and helpful, and I also appreciated the friendly phone call a few days after our stay. We were there with our girls' D-team for beach handball, and had to shuffle the room arrangements a little when we arrived, but that was no problem. My single room in the main building was a good size and had a fridge, TV, and wardrobe. The bed looked small at first, but I slept comfortably. They quickly replaced the soap that was missing. Breakfast had plenty to choose from: cheeses, cold cuts, fish, jams, cucumber and tomatoes, and Nutella. The three kinds of scrambled eggs, including options with and without ham, were a nice touch. There are five parking spots in the courtyard, plus more nearby.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, rolls and bread, cheese, cold cuts, quark, honey, Nutella, tomatoes and cucumbers, and muesli. The bright breakfast room had everything we like, all laid out nicely on platters, with yogurt and jam in big bowls. We appreciated not having lots of little portion packs going to waste, and the kitchen staff kept the buffet topped up. There was so much that you couldn't possibly eat more than you already had. Our small room had a comfortable box-spring bed, and the hotel is quiet enough that we left the window open at night. It's about a 10-minute walk to Döse beach. Free parking is available at the hotel, and there's also a free public lot directly opposite. The owner and staff were very friendly. The double room with breakfast was pleasantly affordable for Cuxhaven, and we'll book here again for our next week's holiday there.

We slept really well in the comfortable room. It was nicely furnished, with a box-spring bed, TV, and a small bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range of little bite-sized items, so there was no need to pile the plate high and leave food behind. The filter coffee came hot in pots, which was great. The staff were very friendly, and we have no complaints at all. Keep it up.
