Gartenlandhaus

A handy spot for a holiday.

The sitting setup was the one downside for us. The bench and chairs in the living and dining room were uncomfortable, so staying at the table to play cards for long was hard. At the end of September the nights were quite cold, though the small heater warmed the place up quickly. We had a lovely two-night stay in this small, cozy garden apartment in Saxon Switzerland. It was spotless when we arrived, and everything else in the apartment was well equipped. The little kitchen was charming and had all we needed. There was also a fenced garden of its own, which made it a great fit for our dog. The setting was quiet and good for walks, with Pirna on the Elbe and the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park reachable quickly. We were warmly welcomed, given hiking tips, a small jar of delicious honey, and treats for our dog.

After our daily hikes with the dog, it was lovely to come back to our own little haven. The bungalow was cozy and furnished with a lot of care, and we were more than pleased with it. They welcomed us warmly and shared plenty of tips about the area. Fresh fruit, heating for the cool nights, and homemade honey helped make us comfortable. See you again! Best wishes 🐕😊😊

The view was fantastic, and the holiday home could suit people looking for peace and seclusion. With our two-year-old, though, it wasn't a good fit for the three of us. The layout was very labyrinthine, with lots of steps, and aside from our own portable pool there was nowhere for our child to play.
