On our way home, we needed a place to sleep, so we called a few hotels in Dresden. Luckily, Landhotel Røsenschänken still had rooms. The hotel has real character, with distinctive, immaculate decor, and the staff were kind and cheerful. We also found the food excellent and the prices very affordable. A memorable experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something different. Thanks for the warm welcome.

The family looked after us with real care, and we appreciated the hotel’s focus on organic choices. The restaurant has an award-winning kitchen, serving high-quality food made with regional ingredients. Our room was cozy and modern, with a comfortable bed, couch, tables, good lighting, TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, and fridge. There was also wine and beer in the hallway. One thing to know: roses are a big part of the hotel’s concept, and they’re everywhere.

Dinner was the highlight for us. Everything was homemade and carefully presented, and both the goose I had and the venison sausages my wife ordered were excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive too. Our room was clean and quiet, just right for relaxing, and Dresden was easy to reach from the hotel. We felt very comfortable at Landhotel Rosenschänke and would happily come back.

The service carried right through to the last hour of our wedding celebration, and we never wanted for anything. The food and drinks were delicious, as always, and everything felt heartfelt. We got married here on October 25, 2025, and the good weather meant we could hold the ceremony in the rose garden. The outdoor decorations were already lovely, but stepping into the restaurant after the champagne reception left us speechless. Steffi, the junior manager, had decorated it with so much love and romance. It was magical, truly our dream wedding. Many thanks to the entire Walther/Connert-Walther family for making the most beautiful day of our lives so unique and unforgettable. We hope to celebrate another anniversary here, perhaps with an overnight stay. Mona & Martin Röder
