We had a delicious, freshly cooked meal in the restaurant. The hotel itself is lovely, with a comfortable, spotless room and friendly staff.

The sauna was good once they heated it at our request. The whirlpool, though, was cold despite being described to us as working, and honestly it was dirty. Breakfast also fell short: the fruit was gone when we arrived and never replenished, and the cheese and sausage selection was limited and not entirely fresh. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is very good, but service felt below par and staff weren’t especially friendly. The restaurant is popular, though we thought it was just okay for the price. We’d try another hotel next time.

It’s a short walk from the station, with lots of restaurants nearby, including a fantastic Italian ice cream cafe. The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and clean. The interior is old but well kept, and the bathrooms have been newly refurbished. It’s also a good option for anyone cycle touring in the area, as they cater to cyclists.

The staff were really nice and friendly, and breakfast was great. We had a very comfortable family room, easy to reach by stairs or lift. There’s a spacious garage for bikes that stays locked overnight, and the outdoor restaurant is a great place to dine. The hotel is in an excellent spot near the Danube spring, in a painteresque setting.

A bit crunchy, but tasty.
