The old building has lots of wood inside, which gives the hotel a charming, cozy feel. It’s in a lovely little countryside village, and the friendly owners, staff, and other guests added to the pleasant atmosphere. The place isn’t very modern, and staying there felt a bit like a youth sleepover or camping. There’s no elevator, so hauling bags up and down the stairs can be a hassle. The floors, stairs, and beds are noisy because the building is old. Parking outside was convenient, and breakfast was decent. A good, cozy experience.

The Schmidbaur family made us feel very welcome, and we had a great stay. It’s a traditional German, family-run place with a country hunting lodge feel, and the food was great too. Thanks to everyone. I’m sure I’ll stay with you again.

The rooms were clean and the surroundings were beautiful, and the hosts were so lovely that I’d want to come back just to spend time with them. The restaurant food was really good too. My only complaints were that the rooms were on the small side and the sound insulation from the hallway and neighbors was poor.
