We could walk to the beach, restaurants, and supermarket from the bungalow. It was spotless and tastefully furnished, with really comfortable beds and even a mosquito net on the window. Having a washing machine in the modern bathroom was a big help with a child, and the beach wagon in the garage made our beach day easier. There were sunny and shady corners in the garden, plus great loungers with cushions. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it.
The owner's service was excellent, and the key handover without contact and Airbnb communication both went smoothly. The bungalow itself is lovely, in a holiday home complex just behind the dike, and the beach is a 5-10 minute walk. Dornumersiel, though, didn't appeal to us much. The beach is small, and there's asphalt and a step between the sand and the mudflats or water. That just wasn't our thing, of course, it comes down to personal taste. We’d gladly return if the bungalow were somewhere else.
A real place to unwind and recharge. The bright rooms felt lovely, and the apartment had everything we needed. It’s a lovingly furnished holiday home, with a small garden, fireplace, and games for indoors and out already there ;-) We were very comfortable.
We spent two weeks here and felt completely at home. It matched the online description, had everything we needed, and was excellent value for money.
I still think about our stay here and am already looking forward to coming back. It’s a dream holiday home, beautifully furnished and exceptionally well equipped.
