My 80-year-old mother and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Plattfisch holiday home is in a holiday complex just behind the dike, and it’s modern with everything you need. The small garden is lovely and fully fenced. The walk-in shower is very slippery. A shower stool for older people would be a welcome addition.

We had trouble with the heating. We couldn’t regulate it, and even after the landlord adjusted it, the hot water wasn’t reliable. Some furniture is damaged, and there’s a musty smell in the bedrooms. It was also difficult to reach the landlord through the emergency hotline. The house does allow dogs and has a garden. The kitchen, living area, and bathroom are comfortable.

We and our dogs had a wonderful, peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cottage is nicely furnished, and felt like a comfortable little haven from the first day. Communication was excellent.

We’re back at Plattfisch for the third summer in a row. The peace and quiet and how close it is to the beach are just right. The place is really well equipped, and communication with the owner is fantastic. What more could you ask for?!
