The bathroom is roomy, with a nice shower, and there’s a large kitchenette with plenty of dishes for two, a dishwasher, and a big hob. The apartment is clean and tidy, with everything you need. Breakfast is served next door at the Seestern restaurant. It’s a small spread, but excellent, and they quickly top things up when they run out. The underfloor heating works well, though it can be noisy at times. The pillows were uncomfortable because the filling had clumped together, so you may want to bring your own. Otherwise, it’s a solid place to stay and easy to recommend.

There’s enough room for four, and the place is lovely and clean. The key safe also makes arriving late easy.

The second star is for the free electric car charging. The rooms were generally very clean, though the balcony furniture wasn’t. When I stripped the bed, I found dirty pillows. I’d asked specifically whether the apartments came with a grill, and they said yes. The pictures speak for themselves.

We were glad to find an apartment in the area at short notice, but unfortunately can’t recommend this place. The weather was kind to us, so we spent most of our time outside. Staying indoors for a cozy evening just wasn’t possible, and the seating was dirty and grimy as well as uncomfortable. The apartment felt carelessly furnished and wasn’t clean. The photos show things like fingernails and silverfish. There wasn’t even a vacuum cleaner or broom for us to clean up ourselves. Three nights were bearable, but we would’ve cut a longer holiday short or found somewhere else. We also saw another guest’s dog defecate on the lawn in front of our apartment. Someone cleaned it up as best they could, but I wouldn’t let children play or run barefoot on that grass, then go back inside. The mess was unpleasant. During our stay, strangers repeatedly came into the house without using the street-facing front door, walking back and forth in front of our terrace as if that were normal. Keeping the curtains drawn made it manageable, but the situation was unacceptable. We’ve had the experience now and don’t need a repeat. If cleanliness and a well-kept place matter to you, definitely don’t stay here.
