Coffee Fellows Hotel Dortmund

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas 2025, and the hotel’s right in downtown Dortmund. I recommend it.

We found the hotel easy to reach, right in the city centre, and check-in was simple. The room was clean and nice, and it was a pleasant surprise. One night was perfect, though I think two nights would be great as well. We’ll choose Coffee Fellows again next time.

Really liked it! The rooms are clean and basic, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are very nice. Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean, the location was good, and the staff member on the second day was lovely. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you need any level of accessibility. The accessible room we were initially placed in was extremely far down the corridor, a walk of about 2/3 and a half minutes from the main rooms entrance. The route from the elevator to the rooms was fine, and the bathroom was decent. There wasn’t enough space on either side of the bed for a wheelchair, so without the ability to walk you’d have to get in from the foot of the bed. The doors, even on the accessible rooms, were heavier than any hotel doors I’ve used. As a mostly able bodied person, I struggled to open them with both arms. A wheelchair user alone would find them impossible. Also, the path between reception and the indoor hotel entrance is narrow and not very accessible. Reception itself is in the main coffee shop. They also advertise 24/7 telephone support, but that wasn’t our experience. We had an issue overnight and called several times between midnight and 7am. No one picked up.
