Home Hotel

The room was spacious, with an enormous double bed, a big toilet, a great shower, and even a hairdryer. There was no real wardrobe space for three people, though, and the single bed I slept in was a backbreaker. The only other facility was a kettle, so it was lucky I'd picked up some coffee on the way. There's a supermarket next door. It's a short walk from the Hbf, through an area that reminded me of the Bronx, but that wasn't a major issue. This is a self check-in hotel. It lists reception hours, but I never saw anyone there during them. No complimentary items either. It was decent enough, but for that price I'd stay somewhere else next time.

The highlight for me was the staff, who were excellent and so lovely. Breakfast was nice too. The room was okay, the location worked fine, and the price was reasonable.

Our eight-hour drive ended with us stranded outside at 3:30 a.m. because we weren't given a code for the key drop box. Nobody picked up at any of the four phone numbers listed on the door. We never got inside, so I can't really give a full review.

Everything was well organized and very hygienic, with fantastic facilities. The staff were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. I'd recommend it anytime, 10/10.
