The spa area was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was nice too. The hotel is new and very comfortable, with staff who were happy to help.

The AktivCard was a real bonus for us, saving our family around €300 in admission fees over three days. With the hotel centrally placed for attractions like Lamer Winkel, St. Englmar, and Bodenmais, we got a lot out of it. The whole place has a thoughtful tree theme, from the entrance right through to our beautifully renovated room, which felt special. One unusual point, given the high standard of the rooms, staff, and especially the fantastic breakfast, is that there’s no hot dinner served at the hotel.

The garden was lovely, and I liked that the horses at the back can spend their later years there. It was easy to take the dog for a nice walk without driving anywhere, and dogs are welcome. From an animal welfare perspective, I especially appreciated that, along with vegan options at the breakfast buffet. I’d love to see vegan dishes on the menu and vegan cakes in the afternoon as well. We stayed over Easter and had a very relaxing time. The wellness area and rooms were all clean, well cared for, and beautifully designed. The modern breakfast area at the front was a highlight, and the kitchen was wonderfully equipped and available for guests to share. Someone recommended the hotel to me, and I’ve already handed out several flyers to friends. Enjoy your stay! Best regards.
