The pool was clean and well maintained, and it added to the relaxing feel of the resort. We were eight people staying for two nights at Reetland am Meer in one of the luxurious villas, and the whole stay felt fantastic. The villa was spotless, with spacious rooms, pristine bathrooms, and quality toiletries. Its modern kitchen had high-end accessories and everything we needed to cook. We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor kitchen and used the spotless electric grill for a BBQ. The stylish interiors and thoughtful details made the place feel especially comfortable and luxurious. I’d highly recommend it, a full 5/5!

A really lovely holiday home, with plenty of space and comfort in mind. It has everything you need.

One heads-up for anyone with allergies: house F09 had down duvets and pillows, so check in advance whether those can be swapped if needed. The house is close to the swimming pool, and everything felt new, very clean, high quality, and fully equipped. We didn't lack anything. The area was still quiet at Easter, with many restaurants closed, including the one in the complex, which was a shame. The nearby beach, about 600m away, is beautiful.

The staff at reception and the maintenance crew were very friendly and quick to help. The beach and nature are walkable, but there's not much else nearby. In the off-season it's extremely quiet, which is great if that's what you want, though I expect summer is busier. We had everything we needed in the house, from a bean coffee machine, cookware and dishes to a washing machine, dryer, Weber grill, WMF blender, oven, microwave, and more. The sauna beside the house was lovely, with a view over the fields, and there was enough room for two families. The playground is very nice, but the playroom is sparsely equipped. The pool at 27-28 degrees Celsius felt a bit cold, and primary school children might only stay 20-30 minutes. The sauna itself is good. Netto, Edeka, and Stolz are 10-15 minutes away on foot. The on-site restaurant is open 5 pm to 10 pm, though we didn't try it. Splash, with its indoor playground, is about a 30-minute drive, but it's a bit dated and rather small. The strawberry farm is also somewhat small. At over €2,000 for the house and area, I'd say it's worth it only if you really want total peace and quiet.

The worst New Year's Eve I've had. Fireworks were going off from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m., even though guests said the rules prohibited them and reception had made an exception. My dog is genuinely terrified of fireworks, and she cowered, confused, in the unfamiliar building. We had paid more than 100% extra for New Year's Eve. We travelled all the way to the far end of Rügen, sparing no expense or effort, because the marketing repeatedly said fireworks weren't allowed due to the thatched roofs. I asked several times beforehand because of my dog. There were other problems too. All the restaurants were closed, and there wasn't even a bakery or fish smokehouse open on site. The spa had limited hours, so the sauna felt packed, and the tiny "paddling pool" was used by all the children and didn't feel like wellness at all. It then closed completely two days before we left. There was no direct wheelchair-accessible beach access, so our senior dog couldn't reach the beach area. The dog waste bag dispensers weren't refilled at the end of the year and season, and there was a lot of dog poop around. The booking had us down for four people although there were only two of us, and we were charged tourist tax and a towel surcharge for four. Reception should have noticed at check-in. We did get the money back. When it snowed, there was no snow removal over the weekend; on the following weekday they cleared it and spread salt in front of the gate. There were dogs at what seemed like at least every house. When we asked them not to spread salt by our door because of the dogs' paws, reception immediately asked for a written statement and rejected the winter maintenance measures. Suddenly they were very meticulous and on the ball, while everything else seemed to matter little. We tried a final phone call with the managing director, but it was completely unreasonable and a waste of time. Not everything that glitters is gold. Please urgently reconsider your marketing.
