The rooms were clean and comfortable, and had kitchens. The only issue was that nobody from the administration or hotel staff stayed there at night.

The rooms are roomy, with tasteful beds and furnishings, plus a separate kitchen corner. This apartment style place was renovated from an old building. A balcony room also gives you a view of the ivy covered church behind the building. There are no staff at night, so check ahead about collecting your keys if you expect to arrive late.

I stayed four nights at the AHA Hotel Dresden and would happily come back. The tram, running every 10-15 minutes during the day, makes getting around easy, and the price for the stay is excellent. Staff were warm and helpful, even arranging football tickets in advance when I asked. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a really friendly and efficient team. The rooms are large, more like apartments with kitchens, and basic but clean and perfectly adequate. Kitchen towels would be handy ;-) .
