Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden

The location is right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of both the Old Town and New Town, plus museums and churches. It’s a great base for exploring Dresden. I didn’t get to try the pool or fitness center, but the rest exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a surprisingly good minibar selection. Even the guest slippers were high quality. There was also a coffee machine with plenty of complimentary coffee options, which was a nice touch. I booked through lastminute.de and had no issues. The reception staff were all friendly and welcoming. If I visit Dresden again, this hotel will be high on my list.

The breakfast room could do with an update. It has a bit of an early-2000s feel, which seems dated next to the rest of the hotel. Still, that didn’t take away from a comfortable stay. The hotel sits right along the Elbe River and is just a short walk from the old town, making it convenient for sightseeing or getting around on a business trip. The personnel were friendly and helpful throughout. My room had a clean bathroom and a lovely view over the Dresden skyline.

The rooms were spacious and spic-and-span clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, and all possible services were available. The friendly personnel were attentive to guests’ needs. An excellent hotel right by the river.

You have to use a QR code to get information about the hotel’s amenities, which is pretty common these days. But the Wi-Fi was terrible, weak and constantly disconnecting. I was there with a tour group, and others had the same problem. I’d never come back. Wi-Fi is essential, not a luxury.
